In the field of celebrations, which include gastronomy services, events, lodgings and shows, 533 suppliers have been sanctioned by Indecopi In the last four years. The most common infraction has been the lack of suitability, concentrating 62.7 % of cases. This problem has been manifested in breaches, quality deficiencies, improper charges and the omission of payment vouchers.
Due to the increase in the demand for products and services for the day of love and friendship, the INDECOPI It recommends purchasing in formal stores, whether physical or virtual, delivering payment vouchers to facilitate claims in case of inconveniences. In addition, it suggests that online purchases are made on safe web pages, with verified security and URL addresses.
Likewise, suppliers should avoid deceptive advertising, ensuring that their promotions specify conditions such as validity, available stock and reserve schedules.
