As part of her second presidential message for July 28, the president Dina Boluarte announced that he sent to Congress a bill to create the Ministry of Infrastructure.

The Ministry of Infrastructure will absorb entities such as the National Infrastructure Authority – ANIN, the Agency for Investment Studies and Projects and other programs attached to the ministries involved in infrastructuretogether with Proinversión, Foncodes, Provías and the Legado project, among others.
According to Boluarte, the ministry will allow planning, coordinating, formulating, executing and supervising infrastructure at a national level in order to serve the population with public services. It will have a territorial and social focus.
