The exchange rate opened today, Thursday, July 25, slightly lower at S/3.7769, according to preliminary data from Bloomberg’s international currency exchange portal. That is, 0.003% more than the previous day, when it closed at S/3.7770.
In the parallel market, the greenback is priced at S/3,750 for purchase and S/3,780 for sale; while in the banking market, it is priced at S/3,733 and S/3,819 for purchase and sale, respectively.
On the other hand, Tomorrow, inflation data in the United States will be published. Markets are expecting the Fed to cut interest rates. However, it is expected that the quarter-point reductions will begin in September.
