Prices of land transport tickets could triple during Fiestas Patrias, warns Aspec

The Peruvian Association of Consumers and Users (Aspect) has warned that, during the Fiestas Patrias, the prices of interprovincial land transport tickets could triple, as has happened in previous years due to the free market legislation in force in Peru.

For example, travelers have noticed a significant increase in prices of land tickets at the Yerbateros terminal, located in the district of San Luis. Crisólogo Cáceres, president of the Peruvian Association of Consumers and Users (Aspect), recalled that this increase in prices of land transport tickets has already occurred on more than one occasion.
