On June 20, the Ad Hoc Commission of the extinct Fonavi (National Housing Fund) approved the list of beneficiaries of the Refund Group 2. The beneficiaries of this group contrast with those of list 20, who received a maximum of S/6,681. On the other hand, payments for Refund groups 1 and 2 do not have a maximum limit, which ensures a return proportional to the contributions made by each former taxpayer.

When will refund group 2 be paid?

Although the list of beneficiaries has already been defined, the official payment dates have not yet been announced. Jorge Milla, representative of the Ad Hoc Commission, told Exitosa that the technical unit’s proposal was that payment for reimbursement group 2 be made at the end of August.

“We see that there is not much support from the executive branch in the Ad Hoc Commission of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. At the time, we proposed that Law 31173 authorizes the commission to contract third-party services. The representatives of the Executive opposed it, and that would have allowed the process to be accelerated,” Milla explained.
