Dollar in Peru: exchange rate opens up and is quoted at S / 4.0030

The exchange rate starts lower in the exchange session on Monday, December 27 and stands at S / 4,0030 at 09:15 am, according to the Bloomberg portal. The figure represents a slight increase in relation to the close of last Friday when it stood at S / 4.0025, according to the report of the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP).

For its part, the purchase of the dollar in the parallel market is at S / 3,990 and the sale amounts to S / 4,035. In the same way, the price of the green ticket in the Banco de Credito del Peru (BCP) is quoted at S / 3,975 the purchase and sale at S / 4,025, according to the portal Cualcuestaeldolar.

This occurs amid expectations for the meeting that the leaders of the Chumbivilcas community will hold with the president of the Council of Ministers, Mirtha Vásquez, to resolve the conflict in the mining corridor.

“Basically the prime minister has promised to be present on December 30 here in Chumbivilcas and reinstate the entire dialogue process and we can seek a solution to this situation that has been dragging on for many years,” said Wilber Fuentes, secretary of the front defense of Chumbivilcas.
