Peru will host one of the most important commercial arbitration and investment events in the world

Peru will host the first edition of the Arbitration Open in Latin America, one of the most important events of its kind in the world and which will bring together commercial and investment arbitration professionals from all countries, for the first time, outside of Spain.

The event to be held in our country will host hundreds of in-house and office lawyers, experts, arbitrators and legal professionals from Latin America to discuss the latest developments in commercial arbitration and investments.

The Open Arbitration, which this year will have an additional focus on the country’s gastronomic and cultural offering, is an annual event of international reference in the legal sector.

“Becoming a meeting point for networking with great professionals and a broad platform for exchanging knowledge at an academic level,” according to the organization.

The forum, co-organized with Bullard Falla Ezcurra +, is expanding internationally, marking its first foray into the Latin American market with the sponsorship of more than 20 firms and attracting professionals from 20 countries such as Brazil, Chile, Colombia, the United States and Spain, among others. .

International panelists include José Tam, partner at Rodrigo, Elías & Medrano Abogados; Brandon Chaney, Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting; Luis Enrique Graham, partner and head of the Arbitration and Litigation Practice at Hogan Lovells Mexico; and Rafael Gil Nievas, founding partner at GNCI Law.

The event has been notably recognized around the world for its dynamism, the large number of companies present and the high quality of presentations. The event will take place on Wednesday, July 10 at the Swissôtel Lima, located in San Isidro.
