The Promperú Commercial Offices in Milan and Paris, together with the regional offices, will carry out a commercial mission to each city, in order to train micro and small businesses in the regions of Cusco, Arequipa and Puno and enhance their exportable offer.
“The commercial technological mission to Italy – Alpaca LAB takes place from June 24 to 28 within the framework of the June edition of the Pitti Filati fair,” states a statement from Promperú.
Through a seminar in Milan, the various phases of the production process of a capsule collection dedicated to Alpaca from Peru will be known, from the selection of colors in line with the Pitti Filati palette, to the creation of trend points aligned with the concepts dictated by the fair.
In this sense, the aim is for mypes to know the production process and the stylistic line of the market, so that they can provide their future business partners with products with added value. During the seminar you will receive a mentorship from two professionals from prestigious fashion brands: Stella McCartney and Versace.
Likewise, a business conference is contemplated with Italian brands and companies in the textile and fashion sector of the high and luxury segment; a visit to the Pitti Filati fair in Florence and the archive of the renowned Italian fashion company Max Mara in Reggio Emilia, as well as a photo session for the book “Alpaca Lab 2024”.
The companies that will participate in this mission are Alpaca Kapchy, Alwa, Apu Hats, Art Atlas, Caryluis, Everything Alpaca, Innovative Knitwear, Jomatex, Lana Knit, Mllma & Qaytu, and Qataya.

After completing this day in Italy, the companies Qataya, Caryluis, Lana Knit, Everything Alpaca, Art Atlas, Alwa and Innovative Knitwear will continue a commercial mission in Paris from July 1 to 2.
During the first day of the mission, there will be a presentation on the French textile market and its requirements for entry, a Workshop on trends for the Fall-Winter 2025/2026 seasons, a visit to the Dios Museum, as well as a visit to main stores luxury brands in France such as Dior, Hermes, Chanel, Saint Laurent, Louis Viutton and Givenchy.
Likewise, you will visit Le Bon Marché, the leading Parisian store that presents an exclusive and avant-garde selection of brands, amidst a strong architectural concept.
On the second day, there will be a guided tour of the Première Vision Paris Fair, which brings together all the players in the raw materials and services needed for the production of clothing, bags, shoes, and jewelry, for the development of collections.
The visit also includes a meeting with Marine Calderero, responsible for commercial development at Premiere; and finally, there will be a visit to the Palais de Tokyo Library (Paris), dedicated to modern art, fashion and design.
