The new edition of the Brand Footprint ranking by Kantar Worldpanel Peru Division reveals which mass consumption brands are preferred by Peruvian households. This year, Coca Cola’s entry into the top 5 and Inca Kola’s rise to 4th place stands out. Gloria remains in first place, Doña Gusta in second and San Jorge in third. In sixth position is Bolívar, followed by Ajino Moto, San Fernando Sapolio and closing the top 10 with Molitalia.

“In a situation where inflation is stabilizing and consumption is recovering, this year’s ranking presents very interesting changes. For example, The top 5 most chosen brands seek to maximize consumption moments within the home, including social moments”comments Mauricio Cheng Matsuno, Country Manager of Kantar.

Likewise, the Kantar study also shares the top 5 most chosen brands according to each sector. Thus, in the food category we see Doña Gusta in first place, followed by San Jorge, Ajino Moto, San Fernando and Molitalia. While in the beverage category it leads
Inca Kola, and are followed by Coca Cola, Cielo, Nescafé and Altomayo. Regarding the dairy and substitutes category, we have Gloria in first place.followed by Bonlé, Ideal, Laive and Manty.

On the other hand, in the top 5 of the home care category are Bolívar, Sapolio, Patito, Clorox and Marsella. While in the personal care category, leads Head & Shouldersfollowed by Colgate, Babysec, Sedal and Pantene.

When analyzing the top 250 brands in the ranking, it is observed that 56% of them grow in Consumer Reach Points or CRPs. This metric is obtained by multiplying the number of Peruvian households by the percentage of households that buy the brand and the number of brand interactions in all categories. At the regional level, Peru presents 53% growing brands.
