If the AFP withdrawal request date has passed, can I still process the disbursement of up to S/20,600?

AFP members continue to register their requests for the release of their pension funds, after Congress authorized a seventh withdrawal of up to S/20,600. In this way, around 3.5 million formal workers have already completed this procedure and since June 13, the four administrators have been disbursing these resources.

To date, citizens whose last digit of their DNI ranges from 1 to 6 registered their applications through the website solicitetiroafp.pe, and they still have one last chance, members with an identity document ending in 7,8,9 and 0 or another symbol. If the AFP withdrawal request date has passed, can I still process the disbursement?

On Monday, May 20, the registration of applications for the seventh withdrawal of AFP funds began, following the promulgation of a Congressional regulation that authorized this disbursement of up to S/20,600. Since then, millions of Peruvians have completed this procedure free of charge, and a large number of them have already received the deposit of their first UIT (S/5,150).

In this regard, the AFP Association schedule offers three dates to make this virtual order, according to the last digit of each member’s DNI. Precisely, next Monday, July 1, this first stage will conclude and after that, there will only be one more opportunity to access the money accumulated in the individual capitalization accounts.

During this period, stragglers will no longer have to follow an order guided by the final number of their identity document. Between Tuesday, July 2 and Saturday, August 17, citizens will be able to register their AFP withdrawal requests, without any restrictions and freely.

Please note that after these dates, access will be restricted and the procedure will no longer be possible online. To avoid inconvenience or difficulties, it is important to follow the AFP Association’s schedule.

Last dates to register your AFP withdrawal request

On Tuesday, June 18, the third opportunity to request the withdrawal of AFP funds began. So far, members with an ID ending in the digits 1 to 6 have completed this process, leaving those with an ID ending in 7, 8, 9 or another symbol pending. Before the free period begins, check the dates:

• If your ID ends in 7, register your application on June 26.
• If your ID ends in 8, register your application on June 27.
• If your ID ends in 9, register your application on June 28.
• If your ID ends in 0, a letter or another symbol, please register your application on July 1.

If you registered your AFP withdrawal request during the initial dates, the initial disbursement of 1 UIT (S/5,150) should have already been made. To check the status of your deposit, follow the following instructions:

1. Check your bank account that you provided when making your AFP withdrawal request.
2. Enter the internet banking of the financial institution where you are and check if you received the deposit from your first UIT.
3. You can also contact the financial institution authorized by the AFP Association to confirm whether the first disbursement was made.

Also, it is possible to check the status of your AFP withdrawal request by following these steps:
