Check the status of your contributions to the ONP with DNI: Link and steps to follow

If you are a member of the Pension Normalization Office (ONP), you should know that you can access the report of your contributions, know the status of your pension application, change your virtual password and find out the date of payment of your money through the entity’s new automated services. With a simple call, you have the possibility to obtain detailed information about your contributions quickly and safely.

In addition, the ONP offers retirees and active workers to access its digital services using only their ID and a personal password. As is public knowledge, the ONP administers the state pension security of our country and manages pensions from contributions to the national system (Decree Law 19990).

ONP 2024: how do I know the amount of my contributions?

Checking the status of your contributions to the ONP is a simple process that can be done online. To begin, you must enter the official ONP portal and follow these steps:

1. Click on this LINK and select the option ‘Go to the service’ or ‘Check your contributions’.
2. After that, you will be redirected to a new tab called ‘Your ONP safe zone’.
3. You will have two options to enter: if you are the owner or if you are a proxy, select within the system which of the two you belong to.
4. In the options, you can enter using your DNI, immigration card, PTP or passport.
5. Below, enter the number of the document you selected and write your virtual key.
6. Click ‘enter’ and you will be able to see your contributions and other details.

This is how you can create your ONP virtual key

The Pension Normalization Office (ONP) offers its members and pensioners a virtual key that allows them to access all its online services. To obtain it, pay attention to the following:

1. Go to onpvirtual.pe and choose “your safe area” in the upper right corner.
2. Choose “I want my virtual key” and then choose your document type.
3. Enter your ID number, parent’s name, mobile phone number, and email address (make sure it’s active).
4. You will then receive a security code in your email.
5. Use this code to generate a virtual key of at least eight alphanumeric characters.
6. Then, follow the corresponding instructions. Please note that the virtual password will be required to access your contributions electronically (it is recommended to write it down in a safe place).

How to request your contribution report by phone?

In statements to the Andina agency, Cristina Vértiz, specialist in pension advice at the ONPexplained that the telephone exchange ‘ONP listens to you‘has expanded and improved its services to access the contribution report, know the status of the pension application, change the virtual key and find out the date of pension payment.

The only thing users have to do is have their ID and virtual key on hand. Then, you can call the number (01) 634-2222, from 8 am to 5:30 pm. m and choose option 1 to continue with the consultation process. An advisor will respond immediately to facilitate the respective assistance.

“In this case, a bot (robot) answers you and the person must enter their ID and virtual password. Then, the system will analyze what type of insured person it is (affiliate or pensioner) and will offer the four new services so that one of them can be chosen by checking the corresponding option,” said the ONP official.

If you need to know your contribution report, you can mark option 1 for the third time and wait. The required information will be sent to the email address you registered when requesting your virtual key. Remember to check your spam or unwanted emails if it is the first time you receive a communication from the ONP.
