Attention, retiree!: why can’t you access the ONP website until June 24?

Through an institutional statement published on its social networks, the Pension Normalization Office (ONP) informed its users that the website https://onpvirtual.pe/ will not be available until Monday, June 24 at 6:00 am. Likewise, the entity indicated that the self-service areas in the Care Centers will not be enabled either.

“You deserve the best! Thank you for your understanding!” was the message that the ONP wrote on its Facebook account. To date, more than 2 million policyholders have a virtual key that allows them to access all digital services for free. However, they will have to wait until the website is restored.

Why can’t I access the ONP website until June 24?

The ONP is a technical and specialized public body that administers the National Pension System. In addition, it recognizes, qualifies, settles and pays pension rights in strict compliance with the legal framework. Like various public sector entities, it offers its members and pensioners access to all virtual services if they have a virtual key.

However, in a recent institutional statement, the ONP indicated that from Friday the 21st until 6 p.m. m. On Monday, June 24, your digital procedures and self-service areas in Service Centers will not be available with the aim of implementing improvements. This can be confirmed when one enters the website and the following message appears:

“You deserve the best! We are working on optimizing your browsing experience, so we will be available again this Monday, June 24, starting at 6:00 am. Not much longer, thank you for your understanding.”

In response to complaints from netizens regarding the restoration of the website, the ONP responded on its social networks that “they can write a message to the inbox so that one of their advisors can attend to said query.”

ONP: how to know the amount of your contributions with DNI?

The Pension Normalization Office (ONP) makes available to its members an efficient tool for consulting contributions through its online platform. This service makes it easier for retirees and active workers to access said information quickly and securely, using exclusively their DNI number and a personal password:

  1. Enter this LINK and select the option ‘Go to the service’ or ‘Check your contributions’.
  2. After that, you will be redirected to a new tab called ‘Your ONP safe zone’.
  3. You will have two alternatives to enter: if you are the owner or if you are a proxy, select within the system which of the two you belong to.
  4. In the options, you can enter using your DNI, immigration card, PTP or passport.
  5. Below, write the number of the document you selected and write your virtual key.
  6. Click ‘enter’ and you will be able to see your contributions and other details.
  7. In addition, you have the option of calling the number (01) 634-2222 from Monday to Sunday from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm. Through this service, you will be able to access your contribution report, know the status of your pension application , change your virtual password, and know the bank and payment date of your pension.

If you do not have the ‘Virtual Key’, you can generate it directly on the platform. To do this, you must look for the ‘I want my virtual key’ option and follow this procedure:

  1. Within the website, choose the type of document.
  2. Enter your ID number, parent’s name, mobile phone number, and email address (make sure it’s active).
  3. Confirm your authorization to create the virtual password.
  4. Then, follow the corresponding instructions. Please note that the virtual password will be required to access your contributions electronically (it is recommended to write it down in a safe place).
