From Monday, May 20 to the present, more than 3 million withdrawal requests from private pension funds have been registered, according to the AFP Association. Until now, affiliates whose last digit of their National Identity Document (DNI) ranges from 1 to 0, have carried out their procedure through the solicitetiroafp.pe portal.
Once this stage of the official schedule is completed, a last opportunity will be opened for citizens who were unable to register during the first two dates. In this way, users with a DNI ending in 1 will be able to register their request this Tuesday, June 18, to release up to 4 UIT (S/20,600) from their individual capitalization accounts.
AFP Withdrawal: these are the last dates to request your disbursement
If you did not register your AFP withdrawal request, don’t worry. From the Tuesday, June 18 to Thursday, July 1, you can carry out this procedure for free, as stipulated in the official AFP Association schedule. Although 45% of affiliates have fulfilled the requirement to deliver the money accumulated in their accounts, a considerable number of citizens still remain.
For this reason, citizens whose DNI ends in 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and 0 or another symbol are enabled for the last time to withdraw their private pension funds. For online registration to be instant, members only need to have their ID, bank account number and AFP web password at their disposal.
It is important to note that these additional dates are not the days on which any member, regardless of the last digit of their identity document, can request withdrawal. As various users have been reporting on their social networks, the first disbursements have already been made effective for the benefit of citizens who registered their requests on the first dates.
