If I registered my AFP withdrawal request and want to withdraw from the disbursement, what can I do?

After the holiday on Friday, June 7, thousands of AFP members will be able to register their disbursement requests during this third week of June. As stipulated in the official schedule of the AFP Association, citizens whose National Identity Document (DNI) ends in 8, 9 and 0 have the first opportunity to enter their requirement on the official website solicitetiroafp.pe.

After that, a third opportunity will be opened for members who did not complete this procedure during the first dates and the first disbursements will be made effective by the four administrators. However, there are situations that could cause the withdrawal of funds to be withdrawn and the regulations of the Superintendency of Banking, Insurance and AFP (SBS) establish an alternative that we will tell you about below.

AFP Withdrawal: what happens if I want to withdraw from the disbursement?

In accordance with the regulations of the Superintendency of Banking, Insurance and AFP (S.B.S.) published on May 3, “if a member wishes to withdraw his request to withdraw funds from his Individual Capitalization Account (CIC), he may notify the AFP, one time only, up to 10 calendar days before the date on which that any of the disbursements have been scheduled”.

The procedure to cancel payment of future disbursements is as follows:

• Contact your AFP through their service channels such as website, telephone or email. Additionally, you can find this data in the following LINK.
• Enter your withdrawal request up to 10 calendar days before the AFP makes any of the disbursements.
• Wait for confirmation of the cancellation of the disbursement.

Since Monday, May 20, the process of registering applications to withdraw up to 4 UIT (S/20,600) from AFP funds began. It is important to remember that this procedure is free and is carried out digitally through the website www.solicitaretiroafp.pe. Affiliates only need to have their ID, bank account number and AFP web code on hand to complete their withdrawal request.

After a citizen has registered their request, they will be provided with proof and, after two business days, they will be able to follow up. To verify if the process has been carried out correctly, it is necessary to follow these steps:

1. Go to THIS LINK or click on the option “Has my application been registered?” from the main page.
2. Next, choose your type of document, whether it is DNI, immigration card, passport or other.
3. Write the number of your document and then write the verification number of your DNI.
4. Click the blank box to verify that you are not a robot.
5. Press the “consult” button and you will be able to find out if you registered your request properly.

AFP 2024 retirement schedule for June

The AFP Association calendar allows members of the Private Pension System to know the dates to request up to 4 UIT (S/20,600) from their individual capitalization accounts, according to the last digit of their DNI. For June, only those members whose identity document ends in 8, 9 and 0 remain. After completing this phase, a third opportunity will be opened for those who were not able to complete this process on the previous dates.

• If your ID ends in 9, register your withdrawal request on June 12 and 13, and June 28.
• If your ID ends in 0, letter or other, register your withdrawal request on June 14 and 17, and July 1.
