Sunat, tax refund: link to check with your ID if you are a beneficiary of up to S/15,450

As is usual every year, the National Superintendency of Customs and Tax Administration (Sunat) will proceed to reimburse an amount equivalent to 3 tax tax units (UIT), which amounts to S/15,450. This procedure, also known as ex officio refund, will begin on June 12 and will be granted to those taxpayers who meet certain requirements.

Do you want to know if you are a beneficiary of this large sum of money? In this note we leave you the link to check with your ID if this Sunat payment corresponds to you.

Who will be able to access the Sunat tax refund?

According to the information provided by the website of the National Superintendency of Customs and Tax Administration (Sunat), those taxpayers who receive fourth and/or fifth category employment income—as long as they do not have income from a foreign source that must be added to these—they will receive the return of the office.

If they have requested an electronic ticket with DNI for their consumption in bars, restaurants and hotels, these people will have the benefit of receiving up to 3 tax units (UIT), equivalent to S/15,450 in 2024.

How can I know if I am a beneficiary of the Sunat tax refund?

If you want to find out if you are a creditor of this Sunat benefit and know the amount you will receive, follow these steps:

Likewise, the result of said return will be notified by email or in the Sunat electronic mailbox. This notification will have the following information:

  • Refund amount: the exact amount that will be refunded to the taxpayer.
  • Account number: the Interbank Account Code (CCI) in which the payment will be made.
  • Subscription date: the date on which the deposit will be made to the registered account.
  • Operation details: specific information about the return and any other relevant comments.

How do I know the CCI that I registered with Sunat?
