The Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS) authorized the transfer of 376 million soles to the Mivivienda Fund (FMV), in order to finance the Family Housing Bonus (BFH) of the Techo Propio program, in the modality New Home Acquisition.
This bond, updated with this Ministerial Resolution No. 398-2021-HOUSING, is a subsidy granted by the Peruvian State, through the FMV, to low-income families who seek to fulfill the longed-for dream of acquiring their own home. In the New Home Acquisition modality, the current value of the bond is 38,500 soles.
The Mivivienda Fund, in its capacity as administrator of the BFH, will report the physical and financial progress of the transferred resources. The FMV carries out the processes of family group registration, allocation and disbursement of subsidies.
Likewise, it manages the guarantees that ensure the delivery of the homes in accordance with the specific contracts. It is expected to close the year with a historical record in the attention of New Homes through said Program.
The Minister of Housing, Construction and Sanitation, Geiner Alvarado, said that this transfer is in compliance with the management axis of President Pedro Castillo, which seeks to ensure the provision of housing that improves the living conditions of the population.
Additional BFH for victims of terrorism
Ministerial Resolution No. 397-2021-HOUSING was also published today, which provides exceptional BFH and Savings values, with an additional value of 25% for members of the Armed Forces and / or National Police of Peru, who are included within the scope of Law No. 29643, Law that grants protection to personnel with disabilities of the Armed Forces and National Police of Peru.
Likewise, an additional value of 51% for people who have been victims who lost their homes due to destruction due to the process of violence that occurred between May 1980 and November 2000, or face housing problems as a direct consequence of said process, duly accredited.
BFH Value for New Home
This second resolution also provides a special value of the Family Housing Bonus, for the New Home Acquisition Application modality.
Henceforth, and as a consequence of the Health Emergency, the special value of the BFH in the New Home Acquisition Application modality is 8.75 UIT for low-income housing (VIS) in a Single-Family Lot and the VIS in a Multifamily / Joint Building Residential / Fifth, from January 1 to December 31, 2022.
