Within the framework of expansion and modernization process, which runs at the Port Terminal of Puerto Bolívar, is scheduled to arrive on January 15, 2022 eleven RTG gantry cranes.

The objective of this acquisition made by Yilport, delegate company of the Terminal, is “to provide greater ease and speed in the loading and unloading of storage containers.”

Through a statement, the Undersecretariat of Ports detailed that the incorporation of these cranes responds to the investment plan in port equipment promoted by the delegate company for an amount of $ 90 million.

The port entity also detailed that the arrival of machinery adds the construction of Pier No. 6 and its expansion areas.

The total value of this work amounts to $ 176 million of which, to date, $ 26 million have been canceled with an advance of 15%.
