In this fifth month of the year, various retirees from the Pension Normalization Office (ONP) have already collected the amount corresponding to their pensions. However, those who use the home delivery service and workers from various State entities still have to receive their payment.
In this sense, the Banco de la Nación has the official schedule available on its website, approved by the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), so that all Peruvians know the dates on which they will be able to access their salaries and pensions in May. According to Vice-Ministerial Resolution 005-2023-EF/11.01, published on December 20, 2023 in the newspaper El Peruano, public sector workers will be able to collect their salaries between Tuesday, May 21 and Monday, May 27.

Dates for collecting ONP pensions in May
Last Wednesday, May 8, the payment of pensions began to the 689,423 retirees who belong to the Decree Law 19990 regime. In total, there are 750,000 former contributors from various ONP regimes who are the beneficiaries of these payments made by the Banco de la Nation at ATMs, authorized agents or the home payment method.
Next, write down the following list made based on the first letter of the paternal surname of each retiree:
- Paternal surname from A to C: Wednesday, May 8
- Paternal surname from D to L: Thursday, May 9
- Paternal surname from M to Q: Friday, May 10
- Paternal surname from R to Z: Monday, May 13
- Wednesday, May 15: international agreement. Includes pensioners from Law 27803.
- From May 14 to 23: home payment.
ONP, May: how will pension payments be made at home?
Since Tuesday the 14th, pension payments have been made at home to ONP retirees who use this service in North Lima. In total, there are 9,857 beneficiaries nationwide, of which 6,125 reside in Lima and are divided into three zones:
- South Zone: This group will receive the ONP payers at their homes on Friday, May 17 and Saturday, May 18. They live in the districts of Barranco, Chilca, Chorrillos, Lurín, Miraflores, Punta Negra, San Borja, San Isidro, San Juan de Miraflores, Santiago de Surco, Surquillo, Villa El Salvador and Villa María del Triunfo.
- Central Zone: Retirees in this group will be able to access their pension on May 20, 21 and 22. This zone includes the districts of Ate, Breña, Chaclacayo, Cieneguilla, El Agustino, Jesús María, La Molina, La Victoria, Lima, Lince, Lurigancho, Pachacámac, Ricardo Palma, Rímac, San Juan de Lurigancho, San Luis, Santa Anita and Santa Eulalia.
- North Zone: The pensioners included in this group have already received their money on May 14, 15 and 16. They reside in the districts of Ancón, Bellavista, Callao, Carabayllo, Carmen de la Legua, Comas, Independencia, La Perla, La Punta, Los Olivos, Mi Perú, Magdalena, Pueblo Libre, Puente Piedra, San Martín de Porres, San Miguel , Santa Rosa, Santa Rosa de Quives and Ventanilla.
