Requirements:

  1. Check eligibility: having made contributions for three consecutive months or four non-consecutive months within the six months prior to the onset of disability.

Burial allowance

This is an amount of up to S/2,070 which is granted to the direct beneficiary of the deceased insured to cover funeral expenses. The beneficiary may be the spouse, common-law partner, children, parents, siblings of legal age or a designated third party who proves that they have incurred the expenses.

Requirements:

  1. Check eligibility: The deceased insured must have contributed for three consecutive months or four non-consecutive months within the six months prior to death.
  2. Documentation– Submit original receipts for funeral expenses, Form 1040, and documentation proving the beneficiary.
  3. Submit the application: deliver the documentation to an EsSalud office.
