How much does funeral insurance cost?

Contrary to what many might think, the cost of this insurance is affordable. The Banco de la Nación has established a low premium to ensure that as many families as possible can benefit from this coverage. We detail the two plan options:

  • Individual plan: the premium is S/4.70 and you can include your parents, brothers, uncles, nephews, godchildren or any third party. It should be noted that the premium payment is for each insured.
  • Family plan: The premium is S/18.90 and covers the holder, spouse and up to 3 children under 18 years of age.

What does funeral insurance cover?

The funeral insurance of the National bank covers a variety of expenses related to funeral services. In addition, the insurance is extended to include medical and psychological assistance necessary during these processes. In case of natural death, it covers the following:

  • Funerals: S/3,000, the beneficiaries will be compensated according to the policy or successors of the insured.
