The Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS) approved the fifth call of the year for the granting of 29 Housing Lease Bonds for Emergencies (BAE). The beneficiaries will be those affected by collapsed and uninhabitable homes due to the intense rainfall in the district of Yurimaguas, province of Alto Amazonas, Loreto.
Yurimaguas, declared in a State of Emergency on December 29 of last year by Supreme Decree No. 147-2023-PCMwill receive the BAE for the rental of the homes of the victims, as a temporary care mechanism as a result of disasters caused by phenomena of natural origin.
Likewise, the granting of these bonuses, whose value amounts to S/500, will be carried out through a call approved by resolution and will be granted on a monthly basis for up to two years.
In this sense, the list of potential beneficiaries will be published tomorrow through the MVCS website (www.gob.pe/vivienda) and the MiVivienda SA Fund (www.mivivienda.com.pe), as well as on the municipality of the district and at the premises of the MVCS Citizen Service Center in Loreto.
The date from which potential beneficiaries can make the first payment of the BAE at the Banco de la Nación will also be published on the pages of the MiVivienda SA Fund and the MVCS. The calculation of the term for granting the bonus begins on the date of its first collection in the Banco de la Nación by each beneficiary.
What documentation must be delivered?
The beneficiaries, within a maximum period of 15 business days from the day following the publication of the ministerial resolution, must present the following documents:
- Application for granting the BAE.
- Sworn declaration of not having housing other than the collapsed or uninhabitable one located in the department of origin.
- Housing rental contract signed with the landlord with legalized signatures or, if applicable, the sworn statement of the signatories of the aforementioned contract, declaring the economic impediment to the legalization of signatures.
