The Peruvian Government authorized a supplementary credit for S/69 million 765,200 in favor of the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Exports and Tourism (Promperú) and the executing unit National Copesco Plan of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) .

Through Supreme Decree No. 076-2024-EF, the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) approves the item with the objective of financing recovery activities and strengthening of tourism promotion and development actions in Peru.

Also considered for this transfer are 22 investments aimed at the development of national tourism, within the framework of the Annual Plan for National Tourism Promotion and Development for the year 2024, charged to resources from higher income collected and not used in previous years.

The incorporation of resources via supplementary credit is carried out within the framework of what is established in Law No. 27889, and cannot be used for other types of financing.

“The Budget Office or the one that takes its place in the documents involved, requests from the General Directorate of Public Budget the codifications that are required as a result of the incorporation of new Items of Income, Purposes and Units of Measurement,” the document states. .

The decree bears the signature of the President of the Republic, Dinar Ercilla Boluarte, as well as the minister of the sector, Elizabeth Galdo Marín.
