In Peru, the socioeconomic classification of households determines access to various state programs and benefits. This process, managed by the Household Targeting System (Sisfoh), identifies whether a household is in conditions of poverty or extreme poverty. Knowing the status of your classification is essential to take advantage of the aid available.

The Sisfoh offers an online platform where citizens can consult their socioeconomic category, using the number of ID. This service facilitates the rapid identification of households requiring government support, ensuring that resources are distributed efficiently and fairly.

Sisfoh Platform: how can I verify the socioeconomic category of my household?

We tell you step by step so you can check what the socioeconomic category of your home is:

  • To verify your socioeconomic classification, you must access the Sisfoh portal with your ID through this LINK.
  • Write the number of your ID.
  • Validate your identity, through various questions, write the ubigeo number and the date of issue of the document.
  • Press the ‘consult’ button and you will receive the socioeconomic classification of your home.

Sisfoh 2024: what are the requirements to apply for classification?

Up-to-date information on income and number of household members is needed for an accurate assessment of socioeconomic status, allowing the Government to direct resources to families who truly need them. The documents are the following:

  • The National Identity Document (DNI) of each family member.
  • Water and electricity bill for the residence.
  • Request and complete the S100 Application Form at the ULE.

What is the S100 format?

The S100 format is an official Sisfoh form used to collect detailed information on Peruvian households. This document is essential to the classification process and must be filled out accurately to reflect the true situation of each family.

Includes questions about characteristics of the housing, access to basic services, educational level, employment situation and other aspects.

What social programs or benefits can you access if you are in Sisfoh?

Being registered with Sisfoh opens the door to a variety of programs and benefits designed to improve the living conditions of vulnerable populations.

Each benefit is intended to provide specific support, depending on the needs identified during socioeconomic classification. Currently you can access the following bonuses or social programs:

  • Pension 65 offers a subsidy every two months to people aged 65 or older in extreme poverty.
  • Together Program provides financial assistance to households with minors, promoting their education and health.
  • With You Program provides monetary transfers to individuals with severe disabilities in conditions of poverty.
  • Scholarship 18 grants comprehensive scholarships to disadvantaged young people for technical or university studies.
  • free SIS ensures free access to health services for uninsured individuals.
  • Llamkasun Peru promotes temporary employment in infrastructure and community projects.
  • National Program for Employability improves work skills of unemployed or underemployed workers.
  • National Rural Housing Program improves the quality of life in rural areas through adequate and safe housing.
  • Bond protection for homes vulnerable to seismic risks supports the fortification or reconstruction of homes in seismic zones.
