Fonavi users will be able to collect their refund at MAC centers nationwide: where are they located?

The refund from the National Housing Fund (Fonavi) is now available to all its contributors. This occurs after the announcement by the president of the Council of Ministers, who in a press conference reported the availability of this fund in the agencies of the Banco de la Nación. In addition, the head of the PCM mentioned that consultations and withdrawals will also be available at MAC care centers.

Fonavistas over 80 years of age will be the beneficiaries in accordance with the provisions of Administrative Resolution No. 001-2024/CAH-Law No. 29625, published in the Legal Standards. The process began this Thursday, April 25 after the official announcement in the newspaper El Peruano.

The Ad Hoc Commission is authorized to reimburse Fonavistas who have verified their monetary contributions, as well as those who until now have only been recognized for contribution periods. The latter will be reimbursed through a distribution formula.

The authorities emphasized the importance of reviewing the refund list before going to the bank and reminded beneficiaries that there is no deadline to make the payment. They also mentioned the possibility of granting power of attorney to another person to carry out the collection on their behalf, as long as a duly authorized power of attorney is presented.

With these measures and procedures, the aim is to facilitate the process of refunding Fonavi contributions to guarantee an efficient distribution of resources and avoid crowds in banking entities.
