MEF grants guarantees for S/34.3 million for the payment of the 2024 Recognition Bonus

The Recognition Bonus (BR) is a benefit offered by the Peruvian State to workers who were in the National Pension System (SNP), before switching to the Private Pension System (SPP).

The Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) granted the National Government guarantee to the Recognition Bonds, Complementary Recognition Bonds and Complementary Minimum Pension Bonds to be issued by the Pension Normalization Office (ONP) in 2024 for up to the sum of S/34 million 311,283.

Supreme Decree No. 057-2024-EF establishes that the ONP attends, during the current fiscal year, the redemption of the Recognition Bonds, Complementary Recognition Bonds and Complementary Minimum Pension Bonds, charged to the resources of the institutional budget of said sheet.

“The Government, through an internal debt operation, grants a National Government Guarantee to the Recognition Bonds, Complementary Recognition Bonuses and Complementary Minimum Pension Bonds to be issued by the ONP, in compliance with the aforementioned regulations during Fiscal Year 2024,” the document states.

Likewise, the MEF, through a ministerial resolution, approves the complementary regulations that are necessary for the application of the aforementioned Supreme Decree, which will be valid throughout the current year.

The application is processed through the AFP in which you are located, as long as you meet the requirements and present documents that support your contributions.
