This Tuesday, April 16, the Labor and Social Security Commission approved the opinion that extends the period for the free disposal of the Compensation for length of service (CTS) until December 31, 2024. The objective is that citizens can use this money to solve their economic problems as a result of the recession.
During the debate, 11 congressmen voted in favor and 3 abstained. Tomorrow, April 17, the economy commission will debate another opinion with the same purpose of releasing the CTS.

What projects on the liberation of the CTS were discussed?
In the commission, the projects presented by Luis Cordero, Elva Julón, José Pazo, Segundo Quiroz, Edgard Reymundo and Raúl Doroteo were debated. These propose extending the date so that workers can have their CTS until the end of 2024. However, Pazo’s proposal is slightly different, since it proposes that it can be accessed until December 31, 2025 and that of Quiroz until 2026.
