Techo Propio offers a bonus of up to S/30,900: what are the requirements to access?

Through resolution No. 118-2024-VIVIENDA of the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS), the Government of Peru has officially launched this year’s first call for the Techo Propio program, through which it offers up to 26,726 Bonds Family Housing (BFH) under the construction on own site (CSP) modality.

This incentive provides significant economic support for many owners, with a bonus value of S/30,900, delivered one time without refund and seeks to facilitate the Home building on land owned by the beneficiaries. If this initiative is of interest to you, below we show you the details you need.

Techo Propio 2024: what are the requirements to access?

  • Be part of a family group whose head is over 18 years of age, or a married or cohabiting couple, without impediment to getting married, who is the main economic support of the household.
  • The net monthly family income must not exceed 2,706 soles.
  • The land or independent air where the home will be built must be registered with Sunarp, without charges or encumbrances, in the name of the head of the family.
  • Not be the owner of another home, land or separate air for housing at the national level.
  • Not having received previous housing support from the State (Fonavi, Enace, Materials Bank, Techo Propio, or resources channeled by the Mivivienda Fund).

What is the procedure to access this benefit of the Techo Propio program?

  • Once the requirements have been met, proceed to communicate for free with a technical entity (ET) of the Techo Propio program at 0800-12-200.
  • Next step, the technical entity manages the disbursement and once this is made, the execution of the work proceeds.

Techo Propio 2024: when do registrations start?

Starting on Friday, April 26, the registration process will open to access the bonus that the Peruvian Government offers for the Construction on Own Sitewhich will remain active for 5 business days until Friday, May 3.

Later, the Mivivienda Fund (FMV) will verify compliance with the requirements presented by the Family Groups, within a maximum period of 15 business days from the day following the closing of registration.

How many bonuses will be delivered per region?

The regions that benefit most from this initiative of the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS) are La Libertad, Ica, San Martín and Piura, with more than 2,000 bonds each. What does the Techo Propio program consist of?

According to the official State platform, it is a program aimed at families with monthly family income that does not exceed the value of S/ 3,715.00 to buy and S/ 2,706.00 to build or improve their home, which will have services basic electricity, water and drainage.
