The Ad Hoc Commission of Fonavi had indicated that a new disbursement would be made for those Fonavistas who charged lower amounts in the previous lists. However, no further details had been announced about the payment dates, since they indicated that the Government of Dina Boluarte was seeking to delay the delivery of contributions to older adults.
In this context, Jorge Milla, member of the Ad Hoc Commission representing the National Federation of Fonavistas and Pensioners Association of Peru (Fenaf Perú), spoke with La República to give more details about the payment to the first and second Fonavi reimbursement groups during this month of April.
Fonavi: what are reimbursement groups?
The Fonavistas from list 1 to 19, to whom smaller amounts of money were returned, will make up refund groups 1 and 2; while those who to date have not received any type of payment will be part of list 21.
“Reintegro 1 will be for Fonavistas over 80 years of age who are alive. We must approve the registry, the administrative resolution and send it to the newspaper El Peruano. So, if we have time, it must be given between Thursday or Friday of the next week (…) We are making every effort with the technical secretariat to achieve this; In the worst case, it would be April 22 or 23 at the extreme“Milla explained.
Who will make up reimbursement groups 1 and 2?
The Ad Hoc commission has agreed that reimbursement group 1 will be made up of Fonavistas from list 1 to 19 who received an advance and who, as of March 2024, are 80 years old or older. On the other hand, reimbursement group 2 is also intended for people over 80 years of age, but in this case, it is about those who died, for which their spouses or children would collect.
“Both groups constitute 328,055 Fonavistas, but we must add the Fonavistas who are on the CONADIS registry and those who have sent documents to the Ad Hoc Commission, who have serious or terminal illnesses, then that number will increase,” says Milla.
How much is the maximum amount that Fonavistas can receive from these groups?
The Fonavistas on list 20 received a maximum of S/6,681, but in these reimbursement groups no maximum amount will be established. “If the information that comes from the employer or from the Fonavista ticket is calculated and results in a higher amount, that is what has to be paid,” Milla emphasizes.
Fonavi, what is known about list 21?
There are Fonavistas who so far have not received any amount as part of the refund, since “their contributions have not been accredited, because there are those who are not retired and their companies disappeared, so the technical secretariat had no one to compare it against,” Milla explains.
However, a couple of weeks ago the technical secretariat of Fonavi received a batch of information from the ONP, “which will make it possible to credit contributions or periods of a certain sector of Fonavis that to date have not been paid,” says the member of the Ad Hoc Commission
