To celebrate the Peruvian Economist’s Day, the College of Economists of Lima will hold different keynote conferences on April 8, 10 and 12.
This Monday the activities for the “Economist’s Week” begin with the inauguration at the Convention Center of the National Society of Industries at 7 pm
The series of talks will address various topics on economic reactivation and the effects of citizen security on the country’s economy, the prospects for foreign trade and tourism in Peru, the economic impact of the Chancay Megaport, gender economic gaps, the protection of the environment and the economy, among others.
Likewise, among those attending will be José Herrera, Dean of the College of Economists of Lima; Waldo Mendoza, former Minister of Economy and Finance; Juan Carlos Mathews, former Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism; Enrique Cornejo, former Minister of Transport and Communications; Elsa Morote, economist at John Jay College from the United States; Kurt Burneo, former Minister of Economy and Finance; Christian Barrantes, vice minister of Development of Family Agriculture and Agrarian Infrastructure and Irrigation, among others.
