The National Institute for the Defense of Competition and the Protection of Intellectual Property (Indecopi), through the Coercive Execution Unit, organizes the third auction of assets in 2024. The assets offered come from seizures made to individuals and companies that failed to comply with their obligations to pay fines, sanctions imposed for violating consumer rights, as well as for not complying with regulations related to intellectual property.

How to participate in the auction organized by Indecopi?
Participants in the auction of goods, organized by the Coercive Execution Unit of Indecopi, must arrive at least 20 minutes before the time set for the event. You must have your current National Identity Document (DNI). As stipulated in article 37 of Law No. 26497, participation will not be allowed to those who have expired identity documents.
Likewise, it is necessary to demonstrate financial capacity, so It is important to prove an amount of no less than 10% of the appraised value of the asset of interest, either in cash or by means of a cashier’s check issued in the name of Indecopi. Furthermore, in cases in which participation in the auction is on behalf of another person, whether natural or legal, an updated power of attorney must be presented, duly registered in the corresponding registry office.
