The Ministry of Energy and Mines (Minem) reconfigured the areas contained in Annexes “A” and “B” of the license contract signed with the transnational Anadarko for the Exploration and Exploitation of Hydrocarbons in Lot Z-62, located in La Libertad. .
The objective is to encourage exploration activities. Perupetro sources informed La República that this modification of the contract does not imply an increase or decrease in areas, therefore, “the activities planned in its work program are maintained.”
