Exchange rate: dollar closes the week lower at S/3.6900 this Friday, March 8

The dollar exchange rate closed the week lower this Friday, March 8, 2024 and stood at S/3.6900, according to the official closing of the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP).

On the previous day, the North American currency had closed close to S/3.7110, and then progressed until the official opening this Friday, around S/3.6895.

In this way, the dollar ends its week with a new decline of 1% against the Peruvian sol. In addition, it has accumulated a cumulative fall so far this year of -0.46%, and a variation of -2.89% in the last 12 months.

In the market of the main exchange houses, the dollar is offered for S/3.68 for purchase and S/3.72 for sale; while the main commercial banks in the country manage an average price of S/3,597 for purchases and S/3,768 for sales.
