The dollar exchange rate closed lower this Thursday, March 7 and stood at S/3.7110, according to the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP).

On the previous day, the greenback had closed at S/3.7360 and then progressed until opening this Thursday, around S/3.7405.

In this way, the North American currency falls 1% against the Peruvian sol, with an accumulated variation so far in 2024 of +0.11%, although -2.29% weaker than a year ago.

In the parallel market of the main exchange houses, the dollar is sold at S/3.75 and bought at S/3.71; Meanwhile, commercial banks offer the currency at S/3,619 for purchase and S/3,798 for sale.
