The dollar exchange rate closed higher at S/3.7710 this Monday, March 4, reported the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP).

The greenback had started its career stable in the first weekly session at S/3.7675, after closing in the last session on Friday around S/3.7680.

In this way, the North American currency notes a weak progress of 0.08% against the Peruvian sol, in days when the FED expresses its concern about the rise in US debt levels, which already exceed those of 2018 .

It should be noted that the S&P 500 index (SPX) and the Nasdaq Composite reached a new all-time high last week, indicating a risk sentiment among investors.
