The Government of Dina Boluarte appointed four new members of the Petroperú board of directors, as part of the structural changes in its management.
Following the resignation of the team headed by Pedro Chira – presented this Wednesday morning before the General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) -, the Minister of Economy and Finance, Jose Aristaannounced that The board of directors will be composed of: Carlos Linares, David Tuesta, Germán Boza and Oliver Stark.
“We are missing one member and to decide who is going to chair the board. The Shareholders’ Meeting will decide. Tomorrow (Thursday, February 29) we are going to have a virtual meeting and first thing in the morning, decide. As of Friday, the board of directors is able to begin making decisions,” Arista told the press.
It is worth adding that the Petroperú board of directors is made up of six individuals, missing the workers’ representative, who comes to office by vote of the workforce and under the supervision of the ONPE.
