The Coercive Execution Unit of the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and the Protection of Intellectual Property (Indecopi) is carrying out the second property auction of 2024. Highlighting on this occasion the inclusion of 10 properties located in strategic points in the cities of Arequipa, Cusco and Lima.
These properties were confiscated from people and entities that did not comply with the payment of sanctions caused by violations of current regulations. If you are interested in participating, review in this note the properties to be auctioned, as well as the requirements to be able to bid.
What are the properties that are going to be auctioned?
In this auction of Indecopi, among the most notable assets in the auction is an apartment in Wanchaq, Cusco, with a value of S/215,180; a house in Mariano Melgar, Arequipa, valued at S/20,394; and a land terminal in La Victoria, Lima, with an estimated price of more than S/4 million. What are the requirements to participate in this auction?
- It is necessary to arrive at least 20 minutes before the scheduled time with a valid ID. Those with expired documents will not be allowed to participate, in accordance with article 37 of law no. 26497.
- Possession of an amount of no less than 10% of the appraised value of the property to be purchased must be demonstrated, either in cash or by means of a cashier’s check issued in the name of Indecopi.
- Participants acting on behalf of a natural or legal person must show a current power of attorney, registered in the corresponding registry office.
