Resolution 059-2024-MINEM/DGH reveals that the production problems at the Talara Refinery in Petroperudue to the complexity of its startup (during its modernization stage), have led to the Turbo A-1 fuel “is out of specification, which has caused various delays in the operations of coastal vessels.”

“Although, to date, there are still inventories of Turbo A-1the supply of Hydrocarbon at the Callao Supply Plant could be affected and would mean a negative impact not only on the normal continuous and reliable development of fuel supply, but also on the effects that, as an externality, it can generate”, the ministry said.

After the 15 days in which suppliers such as Petroperú and Repsol If they fail to comply (under supervision) with their minimum inventories, a window of five more days will be given for them to replenish them.
