The return of contributions from the National Housing Fund (Fonavi) has been a topic of constant debate, especially for retirees who are waiting for their contributions to be reimbursed. Currently, there are 20 lists to receive Fonavi money, 71,000 are beneficiaries of groups 1 to 19 and 64,272 older adults on payroll 20 are receiving their payment for the first time.

“It is not a list 21. It is a reinstatement group (of previous lists) (…). The proposal is raw. We are going to discuss it and find a middle point and, if the guidelines are approved, we will begin. That money is in the National bank and they should only go and collect — as is happening now with those on list 1 to 19, who have been withdrawing their contributions since February 1,” he added. Do I lose my money if I didn’t get paid even though it was my turn?
