Caja Piura plans to place more than S / 30 million in order to boost credits for entrepreneurs and micro-entrepreneurs from all over Peru and boost their business for the end of the year parties.
In order to contribute to the economic reactivation focused on tourism, gastronomy and local entrepreneurship, Caja Piura seeks to impact more than 20,000 entrepreneurs or micro-entrepreneurs with this initiative.
Liliana Lescano, Product Manager at Caja Piura, indicated that more should be sought production opportunities and expectations, innovation and resilience for 2022, a year of great expectations for small companies.
It should be remembered that, only in 2020, more than 45,000 companies closed due to the adverse effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI).
In addition, the Peruvian Foreign Trade Society (Comex) reported in June this year that the number of Peruvian mypes decreased to 48.8% in 2020 alone, while the informality began to border 85%.
