The project includes the construction of a drinking water treatment plant, three reservoirs and 57 kilometers of primary water networks. In addition, 850 mailboxes, 58 kilometers of sewerage networks, 12 pumping chambers and a wastewater treatment plant will be installed.
It should be noted that basic services in the city of Nauta are deficient and do not supply the entire population. In addition, the sewage is discharged into the Marañón River without any purifying treatment, which is why it ends up becoming contaminated.
