Sutrán 2024: who can access this benefit?

According to the information provided by the Superintendency of Land Transportation of People, Cargo and Goods (Sutran), this benefit will be available until August 31 of the current year and will only be valid for violations imposed before September 24, 2023. .

Likewise, those drivers who have serious and very serious violations, which put the life and safety of users at risk, such as informal transportation, excessive speed, driving under the influence of alcohol, will not benefit from this program. or with a retained or suspended license.

How to access the Sutrán fine reduction benefit?

To obtain the benefit of debt reduction from the Sanctions Regularization Program, drivers must previously complete the course on Good Practices in Road Safety and Compliance with Regulations on Transportation and Land Traffic, given by Sutrán at the national and regional level. virtual form. Once you have completed this course, you must follow these steps:

  • Request the report of pending payment penalties through the following email: prs@sutran.gob.pe
  • In this request, the full names, DNI number or company name and RUC must be stated. In the case of legal or natural persons acting through a representative, the applicant must attach a document proving that they have powers of representation.
  • After sending the email, the wait will include a maximum of ten business days to receive the response to the request.
  • If necessary, the corresponding codes, payment amounts and name of the entities or banking means will be provided to make the payment, applying the discount.
  • Then, the payment must be made through the entities or banking means, entering the payment code and paying the amount corresponding to the fine, according to Sutrán.
  • Next, enter the Sutrán virtual platform and complete the fields of the (Virtual) Application Form for the Sanctions Regularization Program. Finally, attach the payment receipts for each infraction in a PDT file and the PRS application form.

It is worth mentioning that, if observations are detected in the request, users will have five business days to correct the errors. This notification of the resolution approving the application for placement at the PRS will be sent to the electronic mailbox.

SAT Lima: how many fines and violations were recorded in 2023?
