What are the Sisfoh categories and how can I check the classification of my home in 2024?

In the context of a fluctuating economy, the Household Targeting System (Sisfoh) is presented as a key mechanism for identifying households that require state support in Peru. This 2024, the Sisfoh continues with the classification of homes into different categories, offering families the possibility of knowing their socioeconomic situation through a simple consultation with the DNI.

Sisfoh operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion (Midis) and its analysis is based on the income, living conditions and other indicators of each household. With this information, the State Peruvian seeks to focus its resources on those who need it most. Remember to only go to official pages to avoid scams where your personal data is violated.

What documents do I need to update my classification in Sisfoh?

If you consider that your situation has changed and you wish to request a re-evaluation, Sisfoh allows you to update the socioeconomic classification. This procedure involves presenting updated documentation about your economic and family situation in the corresponding municipality, thus initiating a review process that begins in the Local Registration Unit (ULE), which collects data from households and coordinates its sending to Midis, thus guaranteeing an efficient and structured procedure.

To begin the process of obtaining your Socioeconomic Classification, you must present the required documentation at the ULE:

  • The ID of all the members of your household.
  • An electricity and water bill, if you have these services.
  • At the ULE you must request and fill out the S100 Application Form.

What does Sisfoh do?

This system is of utmost importance in the management of the General Household Register, since it collects essential socioeconomic data from families and their members. With this data, it allows key information to be provided to specific government programs such as Juntos, Pensión 65, Contigo, SIS and Pronabec. Its objective is to identify potential beneficiaries, ensuring that support reaches those who really need it.
