The Beneficiaries of the payment group on list No. 20 of the defunct National Housing Fund (Fonavi) began to receive the return of their monetary contributions in December of last year. However, more than 71,000 Fonavistas were not in the registry because they were included in the list from 1 to 19. and they could not withdraw their money.
To remedy this situation, the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) reported that these groups of exporters can now verify as of February 1 whether they access the return of their money through the website of the Fonavi Technical Secretariat. Fonavi, February 2024: how to collect the refund of contributions?
The Fonavi Technical Secretariat has made available on its website a special section so that those beneficiaries of payment lists 1 to 19, who have not previously received their refund, can access said amounts in the Banco de la Nación from the February 1st. Fonavistas interested in collecting their contributions must take these steps:
- Go to the website of the Fonavi Technical Secretariat HERE.
- Click on option 6 for Fonavistas pending collection from Payment Groups #1 to 19 in THIS LINK.
- Write your DNI number or the type of document you have.
- Validate your information by entering the captcha code.
- The result of your query will show you the status of your payment.
- Once the payment has been reactivated, you can go to any Banco de la Nación agent with your ID to withdraw your money.
What is Cerad and how to obtain it?
According to the Fonavi Technical Secretariat, consultation of the Certificate of Recognition of Contributions and Rights (Cerad) is now available for all beneficiaries included in payment list No. 20 of the National Register of Fonavistas of Peru. Said document is a record that contains all the Fonavista’s data about the funds contributed, the time elapsed and the amount that will be received in this procedure. Those former contributors who wish to obtain Cerad must follow these steps:
- Be registered on Form No. 1, which records identification and work history.
- On the website of the Fonavi Technical Secretariat, select the options ‘register in Sifonavi’ and ‘work period registration – FI’.
- Submit Form No. 1 along with the employment history record on the web.
- After this procedure, the Fonavi Technical Commission will grant the Cerad to the Fonavistas who have been included in the registry of beneficiaries virtually on the website, which can be accessed with the Sifonavi code.
- The Fonavista has the option of collecting his Cerad through the national service platforms.

- Enter the Registration Status Consultation Module on the website of the Fonavi Technical Secretariat.
- Complete the form with your DNI, immigration card or voter registration card, as the case may be.
