Different sectors of the population have been benefiting from subsidies. One of the most important is the artisanal fisherman bonusof S/700, which is delivered from December 21, 2023 thanks to Emergency Decree No. 038-2023.

More than 47,500 workers will benefit from this amount, granted by the National Fisheries Development Fund (Fondepes), which seeks to alleviate the impacts of phenomena such as El Niño and anomalous waves in 2023. Fisherman’s bonus can be collected only until February

The more than 47,500 beneficiaries will be able to collect the S/700 bonus until February 28 of this year. The management is carried out exclusively in Banco de la Nación agencies, presenting the current DNI. as an essential requirement to access this financial aid.

What is the link to find out if I am a beneficiary of the fisherman bonus?

So far, more than 29,000 artisanal fishermen have already received the bonus, representing almost 60% of those registered in the beneficiary registry. To check if you are included, follow these steps:

1. Enter the Produce website at this LINK.
2. Enter your DNI number and select “Consult”.
3. The system will indicate if you are registered in the register of beneficiaries of the S/700 Bonus.

Requirements to access the S/700 bonus

In accordance with Emergency Decree No. 038-2023, Fondepes provides the subsidy of S/700 to artisanal fishermen who meet the following conditions:

• Formally dedicate yourself to artisanal fishing, according to the Regulations of the General Fisheries Law.
• Be in the registry of beneficiaries of artisanal fishermen approved by Ministerial Resolution No. 00424-2023-Produce.
• Not be beneficiaries of other social programs.

Where can you collect the fisherman bonus?

The delivery of this subsidy is carried out through the Banco de la Nación, without additional costs for the beneficiaries. The total budget assigned by the Executive Branch for the payment of this bonus amounts to S/33 million 294,100, ensuring the effectiveness of the process and economic aid to the affected artisanal fishermen.

What other government bonds are available?

• Rental bonus or rain bonus of S/500: given to people whose homes have been declared uninhabitable or collapsed due to natural disasters or those induced by human action. This benefit allows them to rent a space with basic services for a maximum of two years.
