A concentration in front of the central headquarters of the Basque Government, in Vitoria-Gasteiz, has also claimed that it is not allowed to work in the sector below certain rates.

Hiru union autonomous haulers have gathered in front of the central headquarters of the Basque Government, in Vitoria-Gasteiz, to claim from the administration measures to curb job insecurity, the “irregular” conduct of “false cooperatives” and subcontracting.

The carriers have driven in their trucks from the Lopidana service area on the N-1 to the Lakua neighborhood, where the headquarters of the Basque Executive is located, honking the horns of their vehicles.

They have also demanded that the Basque Government do not allow working in this sector below certain rates and that withdraw the plans of the three provincial councils to put tolls on trucks.
