On July 1, commercial flights between Lima – Huaraz and vice versa begin. LATAM Airlines Perú will operate this route four times a week, on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
The flights will depart punctually at 7:00 am from the Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima and will land at Anta airport (Áncash), at 8:10 am. A frequency that offers flexible options for those who wish to explore the region.
How long will flights take on the Lima-Huaraz route?
The duration of the flight between Lima and Huaraz will be less than an hour, which guarantees a fast and comfortable experience for passengers. The routes will operate on LATAM Airbus A319 aircraft, with capacity for 12 passengers in Premium Economy cabin and 126 in Economy, which ensure a pleasant trip.
Travelers will have a more direct connection with Huaraz, a region rich in culture and archaeological sites, such as the Chavín de Huántar Temple, declared a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1985.
It is important to highlight that the airport is located in the district of Anta, province of Carhuaz. If you want to transport yourself from Anta to the capital of the region Áncash, Huarazyou can take a taxi that will take around 20 to 30 minutes.
