Fonavi 2024: when will the new schedule be available?

After reaching a prior consensus, the ad hoc Commission decided to compensate contributors to the National Housing Fund (fonavistas) who, despite being registered in the first 19 lists, were not able to access their funds. In specific terms, there are 71,079 beneficiaries, of which 63,251 are owners and 7,828 are heirs. S/51 million 810,623 will be allocated to make partial payments.

“We have already agreed (to establish the new group) and now it is up to the Banco de la Nación to incorporate the information into its database before the end of the month. The start date of payments is likely to be in early February, specifically at starting on the first, which is a Thursday. All this is subject to the bank’s operations,” Luzuriaga told La República.

Cerad: what is it and why is it important for Fonavistas?

The Certificate of Recognition of Contributions and Rights (Cerad) is a document that contains all relevant information about the funds contributed by Fonavistas, including the time elapsed and the amount they will receive in the reimbursement process. Engineer Patricia Serpa, platform supervisor of the Fonavi Technical Secretariat, highlights that Cerad is not a necessary requirement for the reimbursement process itself; Its sole purpose is to provide detailed information.

In his words, the Cerad represents “the certificate of recognition of contributions of Fonavistas” and provides a breakdown of what they are being recognized, based on verification of available sources.

It is important to highlight that those Fonavistas who have not received full recognition of their contributions have the option of attaching supporting documentation and challenging the Cerad issued, which provides a mechanism to correct possible errors or discrepancies in the information provided.
