This Friday, Ecuador was recognized as one of the three best international stands, along with Ghana and Morocco, among the 52 countries participating in the International Tourism Fair (Fitur 2024), which is being held in Madrid until this Sunday, January 28.

The Ministry of Tourism highlighted the participation of Ecuador at Fitur, where it arrived as a partner country, and stands out for the beauty and creativity of its pavilion, the largest it had at this world exhibition space. The state portfolio indicated that orchids, Mindo butterflies and roses are the letter of presentation of the country’s biodiversity and attractiveness, which led it to recognition at the fair.

The jury, which unanimously determined the winners, was composed of experts in ephemeral architecture, u Marketing and in tourist communication. Almost 1,000,000 visitors, including the king and president of Spain, investors and businessmen, visited the Ecuadorian exhibition space set up on an area of โ€‹โ€‹760 square meters. Almost 50 domestic businessmen and representatives of GAD participants celebrated this achievement. Minister of Tourism Niels Olsen assured that the award is a confirmation for all those who are part of the national tourism sector. “We are all united with one flag, which is the flag of Ecuador, and we are moving forward. Thank you very much for all the love and effort the tourism industry puts into it,” he said.
