Ucayali: President Castillo guarantees that gas from Curimaná will reach the homes that need it most

President Pedro Castillo paid a visit to the Curimaná district, in the Ucayali region, where it reiterated its commitment to bring natural gas from that area to the families who need it most.

During the appointment, the president met with local authorities and verified the progress of the works on the road Neshuya-Curimaná. The visit was carried out in the company of the Housing Ministers, Geiner Alvarado; of Agrarian Development and Irrigation, Víctor Maita; from Transportes, Juan Silva and from Energía y Minas, Eduardo González.

Castillo Terrones affirmed that the installation of natural gas in the Curimaná district will be promoted to supply the families of this area. This was announced in a meeting with the residents of that town to announce their development proposals.

“How is it possible that a town surrounded by the river does not have gas, water, and sewage service. It is urgent, we have to prioritize that, “he said. He assured that his administration will promote true development without stealing a penny from the country.

During the meeting, the president instructed the Minister of Energy and Mines, Eduardo González Toro, the responsibility of accelerating the natural gas project for the benefit of the families of this district.

Likewise, it estimated that in six months the district of Curimaná will enjoy said resource. He stressed that his trips to the regions are not for photos but to promote true development together with the peoples without stealing a penny from the country or the communities.

Accompanied by the governor of Ucayali and the local authorities, the president asked them to work on an agenda with the main needs of the area and called on the Minister of Transportation, Juan Silva, to speed up the paving of the Neshuya-Curimaná highway.

He affirmed, for his part, that the members of the cabinet will prioritize the irrigation canal for agriculture, as well as the improvement of the infrastructure of the school and the local hospital. Likewise, it requested that the budgets assigned to the projects be used in their entirety.
