After almost 14 years of its issuance, the Gold Tumi coin has multiplied its value. On the Mercado Libre website we can find it with prices from S/25 to S/65, depending on the state of the currency and the use to which it has been given.

What are the characteristics of the Gold Tumi coin?
On the front of the coin, the Coat of Arms of Peru is shown, along with the inscription “Banco Central de Reserva del Perú”, the year of minting and an octagonal outline surrounding the coin.
At the back, the Golden Tumi stands out in the center, a short-bladed instrument with a sculpted handle that represents Ñaylamp, a mythological symbol of the Lambayeque culture.
On the right side of the coin, there is the mark of the National Mint on a geometric design of vertical lines, while, on the left side, the numerical denomination and the name of the monetary unit are presented on undulating lines, accompanied by the phrase “TUMI DE ORO, S. VIII-XIII AD.” All of this is surrounded by an octagonal outline on the face of the coin.
